Rated 2 out of 5 by from New size are too thick and hard I've been buying a box of these every week for many years. It is the only store bought treat I buy, otherwise I bake all my dogs treats. Every dog I have had, past and present love these. Since you changed the size, they are too thick and hard for older dogs or dogs with dental issues (that prefer a crunchy treat) to bite off and chew comfortably. Very disappointed Vita Bone felt the need to change the size. It is difficult if not nearly impossible to find a nice large biscuit on the market today. Even if you felt you needed to make the size a bit smaller, you should not have made it thicker. The thickness of the original is one of the things that made it unique.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dog hates new changed biscuits I have been feeding the biscuits shown in the top of the photo for years. About a box a week. Mocha LOVED them.Then you changed them to the biscuit shown in the bottom of the photo. She hates these new biscuits so bad, she turns her head when I give them to her. The only time I see them in her mouth, is when she is wanting to trade them for what I'm eating. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!! I would have payed $2.00 more a box. I wouldn't be happy but I would have bought them. But these new biscuits you can't give them to me. I'm going to have to throw out the box I just bought.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would have been 5 stars before biscuit change I have been buying the large biscuits since I originally found them at Costco. All my dogs love them and won’t eat other brands. Unfortunately I’m not happy with the size change (thicker) and the new way they are packaged. There were less broken biscuits when they were stacked rather than dumped in the box. Also... I used to have two stores I could purchase these from but the local store appears to be discontinuing for there own brand. That means I’ll need to drive to the next town to purchase. Your marketing team needs to get moving.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Original Biscuit change I have bought these bones for years for my old dog that passed away last year at 17 YEARS OLD. They were easy for him to eat. Easy for me to break in half to share with another little dog. Now, with 3 more dogs I find the new style is not as good. It's harder and it doesn't look like as many fit in the box. Maybe it was cost efficient for you to have them heavier so you could just drop them into the box instead of layering them so nicely. I understand the trials of these times but I would pay more for the old style to come back. Thanks!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control I have been buying Vita Bone for a few years now. To bad they dont care about quality control anymore. They did take pride at one time. Each box had neat rows of bones barley a broken one. Now they are just thrown in a box . Some boxes, half of them are broken. Now I'm getting burnt bits included. I buy the treats for 3 dogs now I'm just fed up. They are now trying to save a buck instead of a good product. I have emailed them 4 time ,nothing. Now that just shows me they dont care what the customer has to say

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My dogs love them! The box caught my attention first. Made in the USA, 23 vitamins and minerals + Glucosamine and highly digestible. All this is what I was looking for in a biscuit. I bought these for my two 13 year old dogs, which are suffering from old age illnesses. They absolutely love them! No digestive problems at all. I'm so happy with this product and I won't buy any other as long as I have my faithful dogs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great treats My dog loves her Vita bone biscuits. I was having trouble finding a treat she liked and I gave these a shot. And to my surprise she really enjoys these biscuits. I did take the biscuits out of the original packaging and placed the treats in an air tight container. I don’t know if the treats get stale but I wasn’t risking it.

I have purchased these large size biscuits for over a decade but in the last year or so, the biscuits are all messed up - many broken - they don't seem as "fresh" and break apart easily - what happened...I have continued to purchase and check, thinking the wrecked biscuits may have fallen - but the boxes were all intact...
