Back in April, we took off on a cross-country road trip in the Good Stuff Pet Truck. Since then, we’ve visited more than 100 cities, worked with 17 trainers and veterinarians across America, and met a whole bunch of cute pups.
We kicked off the tour on the West coast visiting local events, dog parks, and grocery stores in cities including San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Phoenix and Chicago.
In the last several months, our Good Stuff Pet Truck team handed out free treats and goodies to a lot of great people and great dogs, many of whom already had a love for our brand and products. Dogs and their owners even took photos with our truck’s “Pup Pics” backdrop. Check out these fun selfies by looking at #GoodStuffPetTruck on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
We also worked with local dog trainers in many of the areas we visited. These trainers all believe in and practice positive reinforcement training, which means praising dogs for good behavior, rather than punishing them for bad behavior. These trainers were an incredible resource for local residents who had questions about what they should do about a number of things, for example leash walking, jumping, crate training, etc. Pet Behaviorist Steve Dale was able to join us for our Chicago leg of the tour. It was great for our Midwest friends to pick the brain of a pet expert.
Whether we were hanging out with a Husky in Denver, a Great Dane in Boston or a Pug in San Diego, one thing remained consistent: good stuff, and dogs, bring people together. It was an tail-wagging experience and we’re excited to do it again next year.
That’s right – the Good Stuff isn’t over just yet – stay tuned for a 2017 tour schedule and more details to come very soon. Continue to check back on GoodStuffPetTruck.com for updates!
